My work as a filmmaker focuses on expression and the art of storytelling. I try to use a variety of different styles ranging from narrative pieces to documentary work, all with the goal of successfully sending my audience a message that will resonate with them. I create pieces that surround topics like mental health and trauma, womanhood and misogyny, and complex emotions. My goal as an artist is to connect with my audience and create work that helps people and creates change. All of my films are carefully crafted with an intended message and audience, with the hope that it is not only meaningful to me, but meaningful to the audience as well. My end goal as an artist is to eventually be able to write, direct, and produce my own feature films and tell stories that connect with audiences so that they might see themselves in my work and find comfort, healing, or purpose within it.
